Fachspezifische Grundlagen: Innovation and Digital Business "New Products: From Ideas to Markets"

Course Overview

The course is a compulsory prerequisite for specialization in Innovation. It provides foundations for students who wish to specialize in the topics addressed by the institutes organizing this introductory master-level course. Successful participation in this class contributes 9 ECTS toward the fulfillment of the requirements of the M.Sc. curriculum. The course also serves as an introductory course to the IMPRS-CI curriculum. Institutes organizing the course:

Note:

Part I and II of the course are compulsory for all. Subsequently, course participants can choose between focussing on either part IIIa or part IIIb. We acknowledge financial support for the case studies from LMU Management Alumni.

In accordance with a notification issued by Bayerische Staatsministerium für Wissenschaft und Kunst dated 10.03.2020, the inspection of the exam will be postponed until further notice. Updates will be made available on LSF and the websites of the participating chairs.

The re-take exam "New Products: From Ideas to Markets" (summer term 2020) has the format of a

take-home assignment

taking place

Wednesday, August 5th, 2020 (05.08.2020) until Wednesday, August 12th, 2020 (12.08.2020) online.

Exam registration (via LSF): 01.06.2020 – 15.07.2020
Cancellation of registration: 01.06.2020 – 15.07.2020

The assignment will be based on two scientific articles with reference to lecture and tutorial material discussed in the winter term 2019/20 with (optional) inclusion of additional literature.
