Summer Semester 2020: It’s a Wrap!

A big thank you to our project partners, students and upcoming partners!

22.09.2020

The summer semester 2020 has come to an end and we would like to take this opportunity to thank once again all our amazing partners from practice that enriched this year’s fully digital teaching environment at the Institute for Innovation Management (IIM):

  • P&G Switzerland (Fabric Care), who brought with them a consumer adoption challenge from the fabric care segment into the Master’s project course "Innovation Management", which the students tackled with the situation-fitting qualitative research method Netnography by Robert Kozinets.
  • Amazon Prime Video Germany, who worked with students in the Master’s seminar "Innovating for Impact" to develop new and creative ways to increase customer engagement in the highly competitive Video-on-Demand market.
  • Unity Consulting and Orphan Consulting, two of our guest speakers in the course "Feeding and Managing the Innovation Pipeline" (FMIP), which presented innovation portfolio management strategies and practices used in the industrial manufacturing engineering and in the orphan drugs industry, respectively.
  • And of course, all the startups that participated in the Bachelor’s course "START with Business Modeling", where more than 100 student teams collaborated with more than 50 founders to develop a business model for their business ideas.

We would also like to thank all students who chose and took part in one of our courses and worked together with us and our partners from practice.

Now we are looking forward to the start of the winter semester, where we plan to welcome another array of great partners from practice at the institute to enrich the for now once again digital learning environment for students enrolled in our courses.

Stay healthy and see you soon!

Your IIM-Team

PS: For students that participated in one of the courses and would like to follow up with one of the practice partners but did not have the chance to do so during the course, please send an email to Jan Kuhlmann (kuhlmann(at)bwl.lmu.de) with your name, the course that you participated in and the partner you would like to get in touch with.
