IIM at IPDMC 2020
With great joy, the IIM presented part of its research during the virtual edition of the 27th Innovation and Product Development Management Conference (IPDMC)
29.06.2020
Albeit meeting the research community at this year’s Innovation and Product Development Management Conference (IPDMC) in Antwerp, Belgium was only possible virtually given the current situation, the IIM would like to acknowledge and congratulate the organizers for the successful event. The IIM would also like to extend its greetings to all participating researchers and great keynote speakers such as Prof. Robert A. Burgelman (Stanford Graduate School of Business, Corporate Governance Research Initiative) and Prof. Christopher Tucci (Imperial College Business School, Digital Strategy & Innovation; Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL)).
Contributions of the IIM at the 27th Innovation and Product Development Management Conference
- Prof. Jelena Spanjol, Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Product Innovation Management (JPIM), announced a call for papers for an upcoming special issue on "The Impact of Digital Manufacturing on Innovation Management" and JPIM’s new Catalyst format.
- Prof. Jelena Spanjol also presented her, and Kuan-Chou Ko and Jia-Shiuan Hsieh from National Taiwan University (NTU) research on how the institutional ranking of higher education institutions affects employee innovation adoption.
Marcelo de la Cruz and Prof. Spanjol’s presented their research on for-profit firms’ social value creation (taxonomy) and the implications for innovation strategies.
Lisa Welzenbach provided insights into her ongoing research on companies’ collaborative innovation endeavors during the "Social and Frugal Innovation" session, presenting her research on customer involvement and customer co-development as a means for economic and societal value creation.
The IIM is already looking forward to the 28th IPDMC, be it virtual or in-person offline!
